Responsible Gaming Conference

words by Anna Jein / 5 Sep 2017

On 20 September 2017, we will for the second time host a Responsible Gaming conference in Malta together with local treatment foundation, the FSWS (Foundation for Social Welfare Service).

It is the second year in a row we co-host this conference and we look forward to following up on last year’s successful event. The purpose of the conference is to gather a wide range of academics, researchers, gaming operators, phycologists, regulators, authorities and treatment agencies and create a constructive dialogue around responsible gaming.

Responsible gaming is a fundamental part of building our sustainable business and we believe that increased dialogues will lead to a safer gaming environment build on cutting edge academic research, improved treatment practices, a more sustainable industry and better regulatory frameworks.

This year, the list of speakers spans from leading researchers such as Professor Mark Griffiths  and Doctor Jonathan Parke, Premier League football player and ex-gambling addict John Hartson, Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Affairs Hon. Silvio Schembri , Minister for the family Dr Michael Falzon, Kindred CEO Henrik Tjärnström and many more.

You can read much more about the conference and register on the event website here

If you are unable to attend the conference in Malta, you can also watch the full programme live-streamed on the day directly on the conference website.
