Today Unibet has launched its own platform in Italy. On unibet.it, the Italian players are offered Sit & Go, scheduled and multi-table poker tournaments on the Ongame P5 Poker Engine. During next year poker cash games, casino offerings and sports betting will be added.

“Re-launching our operations, using our own technology and joining Ongame network is the first step of our market re-entry in Italy. With the imminent introduction of cash games, we see great value in the Italian market”, says Unibet CEO Henrik Tjärnström.

“Unibet is a well renowned brand, and we are very happy to work with them in Italy,” says Martin Lerby, Head of Ongame. “With the addition of Unibet, and later the introduction of cash games, we will see new energy coming into the Italian market both for players and operators, since we will see more products and better liquidity which will lead to increased revenues.”

Unibet is one of the largest online gambling operators in Europe, aiming to strengthen its position in the European market, and have already announced its intentions to join Ongame Network France.
