Kindred Group has been recognised as one of Sweden’s top employers. The recognition comes from Karriärföretagen (Career Company), a respected panel that has been presenting Sweden’s most attractive employers since 2011. Kindred now proudly holds the title of a Swedish Career Company 2022, in Sweden’s very competitive employer landscape.
Companies go through a rigorous selection process by an expert panel and a qualified jury, to be named a Career Company by Karriärföretagen. Only 100 out of around 1000 applications will make the final list. Kindred was recognised as an employer that offers unique career and development opportunities for both graduate students and young professionals at the beginning of their careers. The expert panel also considers factors such as employer attractiveness externally, social media presence and quality, as well as career pages on the web.

We had the opportunity to talk to Johan Engberg, a Line Lead Tech Development at Kindred in the Stockholm office.
Johan, what does this award mean for Kindred Group?
This recognition emphasises what many of us already know – that Kindred is a really nice place to work. When it comes to graduates and young professionals, we have numerous successful career journeys within Kindred, from entry-level to senior management, as well as across different functions. This only shows how important this candidate group is for the company.
You work in the Tech department and Kindred have some positions for interns and graduates available now. What would you say to someone who is thinking of applying?
Just apply! With our Accelerate graduate program, we offer graduates in Tech a structured on-boarding program over a six-month period to give you the best possible start on your career. You will share this experience with up to 16 fellow graduates that will join at the same time, forming a base for great friendships and support. Most of last year’s graduates secured employment with Kindred at the end of the program; currently working as team members in their respective teams. I see this as the best evidence to prove how the program really works for the graduates, as well as for Kindred.

The technical level and challenges our platform offers are super exciting for any engineer that loves problem-solving.
