Below you will find some testimonies of the day from some of our Kindred delegates:

Elena Insheva - JavaScript Engineer

“WIT is all about inspiration and its various meanings. The women out there were not only inspiring, but they were also looking for inspiration. It was interesting to meet those who were successful and those who stayed at our booth with eyes full of hope and excitement, and it was great and gratifying to inspire them with my story and vision, even if it was only from the booth and not from the stage. I believe that every woman in tech took home with her something incredible, something that will guide her, help her, lead her. So, thank you WIT and Kindred for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a special and life changing event!”

Asha Jabarullah Khan - Data Business Solutions Analyst

“I'm charged and highly inspired by all the motivational talks. One of my favorites is Milla Sjörstrand - An inspirational girl for all generations trying to break the stereotype in F1 racing - "What's the first thing you think about when you hear the words racing driver? If it’s not a woman, we need to change that" and how technology is enabling her to focus more about learning a new track.  Follow your passion and do the right thing and do the things right will go all the way!”

Emma Skeppstrand – Tech Talent Acquisition

“It was amazing meeting so many inspirational women and speaking with people from different backgrounds and companies. The energy at the fair was something special! I am very proud to be a part of the WIT community.”

Ashwini Bhalsingh – Engineering Manager

“One of the best experiences so far with WIT Sweden. The scale of the event is getting bigger and ever more empowering. I am thankful for the opportunity where we had the opportunity to meet and listen so many great, courageous, and inspiring women around. Sustainability, Energy, AI, data, security lots of topics. My memorable moments were when I see such a patient mother speaker with her kids on stage and few pregnant tech mothers with ambition for tech.”

Laure Duchamp – User Researcher

It was interesting to see the minister for education taking an interest in these initiatives and it really showed how impactful people can be when they are brought together.”

Elena Makhaylova – Product Owner

“This is my favorite event of the spring! I’m looking forward to that every year and it never disappoints. So many inspirations, knowledge sharing, passion and empowerment! Great to be in the booth as well and talk about Kindred, share our story and values. I am super charged and grateful for this day.”

Svetlana Tsogankova - Senior Software Engineer, Java

For me it was very inspiring to see so many female speakers on stage. As a backend developer I am used to seeing mainly male speakers at professional conferences. Attending a global event like this makes you realize how big and powerful a Women In Tech community is. It's a pleasure to see so many smart, independent, and strong women, who are also not afraid to open up and share their vulnerabilities.”
